Having a pet is a long-term commitment that should be taken seriously! Before you purchase a golden retriever from us, kindly browse the resources in the links below. Armed with information, you’ll be able to find the right dog for you. He or she will also love staying in your furrever home.

If your application is accepted, you will need to place a deposit to reserve a pup. We work with buyers to get just the right match for their family. Before going home pups will have vet checks, be dewormed, and be vaccinated for parvo.

Why Adopt a Purebred Dog?

Our philosophy regarding raising purebred dogs is based on the science of genetics. We can genetically test for specific diseases according to the breed and make informed decisions accordingly in our breeding plans.

Health

We provide our dogs with a proper diet, supportive environment, and limited exposure to toxins. We only breed dogs that have passed all health clearances recommended for golden retrievers by the Canine Health Information Center. These include hips, elbows, heart, thyroid, and eyes. DNA panels are also done to ensure non-affected offspring of genetic diseases such as ichthyosis and progressive retinal atrophy.

Natural Approach to Dogs

We have seen firsthand the result of raising dogs conventionally without the knowledge to advocate for our own dogs’ health. Before starting our breeding program, I (Deb) studied and became certified in Natural Companion Animal Care. My goal was to find very genetically healthy lines and apply this knowledge for improved health and longevity in each generation.

We encourage puppy buyers to follow a natural approach in raising their puppy. This includes limited vaccinations; a natural diet free of artificial preservatives, colorings, flavorings, corn, wheat, and soy; and a toxin-free environment (free of pesticides and herbicides, and with green cleaning products).
